Scheduled Maintenance

By following the recommended scheduled maintenance for your Volkswagen, you can be sure of many years of top performance while making sure your warranty remains intact. It's important to note that by properly maintaining your VW you will also help maintain its resale value.  

Recommended service intervals are for vehicles driven under normal driving conditions.  For vehicles operated under more severe duty, additional or more frequent intervals are recommended.  Wear items such as tires, brake pads, brake discs, and clutches, are dependent on driving habits and are influenced by adverse operating conditions; this may necessitate more frequent, or shorter intervals between servicing and/or replacement.

The Volkswagen service intervals consist of three service groups:

• Oil Service
• Minor Maintenance
• Major Maintenance

Additionally, there are several Other Maintenance servies (to be carried out based on time rather than mileage), excluded from the major service groups.

• Brake fluid flush and replacement every 2 years regardless of mileage
• Coolant flush and replacement
• Cloth Top check function and rollover protection every 2 years regardless of mileage (Cabriolets only)
