• Replace engine oil and oil filter

• Measure thickness and runout of brake rotors
• Measure thickness of brake pads (IS F, LS 460 L with Touring Package)
• Replace air conditioner filter
• Replace brake fluid
• Replace engine air filter
• Replace Smart Key battery (all models except SC)
• Re-torque nuts and bolts of drive shaft (RX AWD)
• Tighten axle shaft boots (RX 400h AWD)
• Visually inspect brake pads, calipers and rotors
• Reset reminder light
• Road-test vehicle
• Inspect the following:
  • Active height control system (LX)
  • Axle shaft boots
  • Ball joints and dust covers
  • Body
  • Brake lines and hoses
  • Differential oil (GS 450h)
  • Engine coolant
  • Engine/Inverter coolant (GS 450h, LS 600h L, RX 400h)
  • Exhaust pipes and moutnngs
  • Front differential oil (GS 350 AWD, IS 250 AWD, LS 460 AWD, GX, LX, LS 600h L)
  • Fuel lines and connections, fuel tank band and fuel tank vapor vent system hoses
  • Fuel tank cap gasket
  • Rack and pinion assembly (RX, GX, LX, GS 450h, LS 600h L RX400h)
  • Manual transmission oil (IS 250)
  • Rear differential oil (GS, IS, LS, SC, RX, GX, LX, AWD/4WD only, LS 600h L, RX 400h)
  • Steering linkage and boots
  • Transfer case oil (RX, LX, GX, AWD/4WD only, LS 600h L)
  • Transfer case for signs of leakage (GS 350 AWD, IS 250 AWD, LS 460 AWD, LS 600h L)
  • Transmission fluid (RX, RX 400h)
  • Transmission for signs of leakage
  • Variable gear ratio steering assembly (GS 450 h, LS 600h L, RX 400h)

Additional Maintenance Required if You Drive Primarily Under the following conditions

Driving on dirt roads or dusty roads:

• Tighten nuts and bolts on chassis

Driving while towing:

• Replace front differentia oil (GX, LX)
• Replace rear differential oil (RX, GX, LX, AWD/4WD ony)
• Replace transfer case oil (RX, GX, LX, AWD/4WD only)
• Tighten nuts and bolts on chassis (ES, GX, LX)
