Audi and Volkswagen models are packed with electronics, which is a big reason they drive and feel the way they do. The downside is that when voltage or wiring is not quite right, you can get some strange behavior long before anything actually “dies.” Here are seven electrical issues we see all the time and what they usually look like from the driver’s seat. 1. Weak or Tired Batteries and Main Ground Connections These cars are very sensitive to voltage. A battery that still cranks the engine can be weak enough to confuse control modules, especially on cold mornings.
