Tesla service gets talked about like it begins and ends with the battery. The battery is important, of course, but it is only one piece of the car. Tires still wear out. Brakes still need attention. Suspension parts still take pothole hits. Coolant still has to manage heat. Electric does not mean maintenance-free. A Tesla has fewer traditional engine parts, but it still needs the same kind of careful, hands-on checks that keep any vehicle safe and predictable on the road. Tires Wear Faster Than Many Owners Expect Tesla tires live a hard life. The vehicle is heavier than many gas-powered cars, and the instant torque can wear tread quickly if rotations are skipped. Even normal daily driving can wear tires out faster when pressure, alignment, or driving style is working against them. Uneven tire wear is one of the first things we look for during service.
